Port Louis, Mauritius 3/16/25

Yesterday, Papa attended magic lessons onboard a ship, hoping to perform tricks during his next visit. In Port Louis, Mauritius, a city with a rich history, we explored sites like the Chinese Pagoda and Father Laval’s shrine. The day highlighted cultural diversity, with Hindu ceremonies and local scouts engaged in cleanup efforts.

Seychelles 3/13/25

The King Neptune Ceremony was celebrated on a cruise ship, marking the transformation of first-time equator crossers into seasoned sailors. The event featured humor and trials under King Neptune’s watch. Later, in Seychelles, the family explored local attractions including a Botanical Garden, enjoyed a sunset cruise, and faced slow internet.

Maldives 3/10/25

Today, we visited the Maldives, a stunning travel destination made up of 1,192 coral islands. We explored Bandos Island Resort, renowned for its overwater bungalows and clear waters, perfect for snorkeling. Afterward, we returned to Malé and prepared for our next journey to Africa while managing ongoing work projects.

Langkawi Malaysia & Phuket, Thailand 3/3 -3/4/2025

The journey through Langkawi and Phuket highlights stunning natural beauty and rich history. In Langkawi, experiences included exploring mangrove forests, observing eagles, and visiting a bat cave. In Phuket, attractions featured Promthep Cape, Wat Chalong temple, and bustling old town. The trip also involved engaging local cuisine and cultural celebrations aboard the ship.

Singapore, Kuala Lumpor – 2/28-2/29/2025

The journey covers Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, and Thailand over four days. In Singapore, highlights include the Orchid Garden, Sentosa Island, and the S.E.A. Aquarium. Kuala Lumpur features the National Mosque, Independence Square, and the Petronas Twin Towers. The ship’s crew changes with a new, engaging captain. Overall, a busy yet rewarding experience.

Moreton Island 2/14/2025

The group arrived at Moreton Island, famous for its WWII history and Tangalooma Wrecks, amidst unfavorable weather. They faced challenges with tender docking and rain during their kayak tour. Despite the difficulties, they enjoyed snorkeling around the wrecks. Their Valentine’s night concluded with a formal dance, preparing for their next destination.

We arrived into Sydney early yesterday morning.  We are here for two days and staying overnight.  The night before were a lot of goodbyes for people leaving.
