Michael Carney, owner of the Mr. Handyman of the Southwest Atlanta Suburbs hike to Mount Everest Base Camp.

Mike hiked up with his 2 daughters Erin and Haley as well as his brother, John, and his two nieces Dever and Julia.

The hike was very physically demanding as well as a mental challenge. Climbing the steep trails up and down as well as dealing with the high altitude was exciting but challenging.

Mike is happy to be back in Kathmandu, Nepal and getting ready to fly back to the states.

Note the pictures were blow were taken 3 days before the tragic avalanche that buried 16 sherpas. In the background is the ice falls where the avalanche occurred.
