Puerto Rico 5/6/2025

Nana showcased her watercolor paintings and performed at the guest talent show during the cruise. Following this, the family explored San Juan, appreciating its history, vibrant architecture, and warm atmosphere. They enjoyed local culture, tried a GPS-guided app, and savored piña coladas before preparing to disembark. Two more blogs are planned.

Lisbon, Portugal 4/28/25

Today, we met our son-in-law’s parents in Portugal while on a cruise. After navigating a city-wide power outage during lunch, we enjoyed city exploration and gifts exchanged. Despite delays due to the outage, we returned to the ship before departure. Tomorrow, we arrive in Tangiers with time constraints.

Easter Sunrise Service 4/20/24

Today, a special Easter sunrise service was held on a cruise ship, featuring a Pastor, Rabbi, and Priest. Nana participated in the choir, which prepared for the event. The service began at 6:00 am, despite chilly winds, and included a blessing, a sermon, and choir performances, followed by Mass at 8 am.

Cartegena, Spain 4/11/25

Cartagena, Spain, founded in 227 BC, has a rich history as a key naval and military base. Originally established by Hasdrubal the Fair, it later became a Roman colony. Today, it features ancient ruins, including a Roman amphitheater. Our visit included a trolley train tour and a local parade, ending with a prayer in the main church.
