August 20th was an unforgettable sea day on our cruise. We started with a Towel Zoo at the pool, showcasing the crew’s creativity and dedication. Lunch brought cake day, and the afternoon was filled with music from the ship’s string musicians. The highlight was our crew appreciation dinner, where we met the hardworking crew and expressed our gratitude.
Today in South Queensferry, we traveled by train to Edinburgh, experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We watched a fun musical comedy and the modern verse production of Midsummer! featuring Suri Noelle. Our evening included a delightful show of traditional Scottish music and dance. Tomorrow, we have a sea day.

The cruise faced two cancellations due to weather, affecting planned activities. Instead, passengers enjoyed leisurely time at sea before arriving in Reykjavik for a complimentary tour. Highlights included key landmarks, the Hallgrímskirkja church, and the Perlan, which features an Aurora show and showcases Iceland’s geological wonders, concluding with a visit to the Árbær Open Air Museum.
