Lot’s of new robots are being shown at CES. Robot lawn mowers were a major highlight at CES 2026, showing how outdoor robotics is evolving toward smarter, fully autonomous yard care. The latest models increasingly use LiDAR, AI vision systems, RTK GPS, and multi-sensor fusion to navigate without boundary wires, map yards precisely, avoid obstacles (pets, hoses, toys), and cover complex terrain.
Since my yard has a steep slope, I have focused on the AWD mowers. Lot of smaller non AWD mowers shown that are even cheaper.
All can handle extreme slopes and are wireless
