Tomorrow morning at 5am we leave for the airport to begin our trek up to Mount Everest Base Camp.

Yesterday we had our gear check and weigh in for our gear. We are only allowed 33 pounds of luggage in total between our duffel bag and our pack. I had to take a lot of items out to get down to this weight and I my pockets will be full when I board the airplane.

We fly into Lukla airport which will be an interesting trip. Then we start our hike tomorrow. Our hike tomorrow starts off downhill but we will be at 8,000 feet. This will start our altitude acclimization.
