Today was the Niagara Falls visit. We docked in Port Colbourne last night. Port Colbourne was built during the Welland Canal, the 4th time. The 4the iteration was built in the 1930s.

The falls were a 45 minute ride from the Port. Nana was so excited to see the falls. She has wanted to visit the falls for a long time.
It is interesting in that we lived in Erie but never visited during our one year stay there. I guess we were too busy getting married and pregnant with Tony.
Majestic views of Niagara Falls

The Class 6 rapids and whirlpool down river from the falls. It doesn’t look that hard but only 16 people have attempted it and only 11 survived.

The largest flower clock in the world, 16,000 flowers done several times a year.

After arriving back on the ship and after a short nap we decided to walk over to the city (Port of Colbourne). They were celebrating canal days with a big festival, food places and lots to do. While we were there we toured the Buffalo Fire Boat, watched the soap suds gun cover kids, and I checked out my next boat.
