70% of the people in India are Hindu. It is a very religious country but in a way that is unfamiliar with Christians. I can see the religion and the impact to culture but I cannot yet understand it.

On are way from Jaipur to Agra India today, we passed a very long procession of people that was a pilgrimage from their homes to the temple of the Monkey God. This procession of people was over 20 Kilometers long. They closed down half of the Interstate highway and many people had set up tents to provide water and food, music was always heard between special trucks and special areas set up by the side of the road.
